http://www.brainbank.mclean.org/Harvard Brain Tissue Resource Center accepts donated brains for research on neurological issues as well as mental illness. A donor must sign a release prior to death, the brain cannot be donated solely by the family as is the case with other organs. Normal brains are also needed for study.
