Handmade Blank Books

I have been making handmade books lately using scrapbook paper, cardstock and just supplies that I have on hand. I usually use kite string for the stitching.

Tri folded with fancy string and a paper closure.

Round book with a Chicago screw holding it together. I wrote 170 different prompts to remind me of ideas for my mixed media art journaling.

Three signatures in a tri fold book.

Six envelope book and tags. I used spray inks for the designs. Kite string stitching it together.

Five envelope book covered with cardstock with tags. Old necklace parts on closure.

Grieving Garland Kits  painted with spray inks.

Grieving Garland kits out of mulberry paper. The receiver can write memorable moments or qualities they love about their loved one who has past and link them together to form a garland that can be hung as a memorial.
