I did an 8 hour silent meditation day just to experience it. When I got bored with banning all thought, I focused on sensations in my body and attached colors to them in my mind. I know I was disobedient to the guru but it's all about me isn't it? During lunchtime, I went to my car and watercolor painted the colors I was seeing in my mind. I wondered if after several hours there would be some sort of well of peace or understanding or wonderful sensations. No, it was just the same at the end as it was at the beginning. It was nice to not have anything I needed to do but "be", but I think Leonie's ideas are marvelous. Isn't it funny how some people just bring out these words in us?
Meditating can be a great Wellness Tool.
